Master Inferior Alveolar Nerve Lateralization
A focused, cadaver-based one-day course on inferior alveolar nerve lateralization — the technique that makes the severely atrophic posterior mandible implant-ready.
Limited to 6 seats — advanced cohort, prerequisite required
One Day That Changes What You Can Offer
Learn
IAN anatomy, nerve tracking, surgical access principles, complication prevention, and the precise protocol for lateralization and simultaneous implant placement in the severely atrophic posterior mandible.
Practice
Perform nerve lateralization on Human Cadaver Specimen. See, feel, and navigate the IAN in real tissue — with a world-class surgeon standing next to you at every step.
Leave
With the knowledge, hands-on experience, and systematic protocol to approach nerve lateralization cases in your own practice — the procedure that no atrophic mandible can stop.
No pig jaws. No models.
Real. Human. Bone.
One Intensive Day
Morning — Protocol & Preparation
IAN anatomy review, CBCT analysis and nerve tracking, patient selection, surgical access planning, instrumentation overview, and complication avoidance. Live demonstrations with Dr. Barreiros covering the full surgical sequence before you do it yourself.
Afternoon — Cadaver Lab
Hands-on nerve lateralization on Human Cadaver Specimen. You perform the full procedure — surgical access, corticotomy, nerve identification and lateralization, implant placement, and repositioning. Direct, one-on-one faculty supervision throughout.

For the Surgeon Who Refuses to Refer
You're ready for this if…
- You're placing implants in the posterior mandible but declining atrophic cases
- You want a systematic approach to nerve management
- You're ready for a procedure that very few surgeons can offer
Nerve lateralization is rare. The surgeons who can offer it don't refer atrophic mandible cases — they treat them.
Prerequisites
Heavy remote anchorage experience.
This is an elite-level procedure requiring significant surgical foundation. You should have meaningful experience with remote anchorage and advanced implant surgery before attending this course.
